Had a little mid-week sauna session last night. It was pure bliss and such a great activity to do in Jan when it’s on the verge of snow! It was supposed to be snowing while we were there, which would have been so epic to watch it fall while we were toasty inside, but alas it did not fall and 2 degrees was cold enough.

We went to Rooftop Saunas which is close to London Fields. You get a private Sauna (up to 4 people), change room, a little kitchenette with water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities which is all included in the price. There were other drinks, but at an additional cost.

I came here YEARS ago, when it was a slightly different set up and I think they have really nailed it now. It’s private, quiet, great views and friendly service also. Everything was super clean and the plunge baths icy!

At £25 per person for 1 hour (when sharing with 4 people, it’s more expensive the less people you have) it’s a lux treat. It’s not something I will do doing on the regular, especially when I have a sauna at my gym, definitely not as nice, but it does the same thing, so you’ll find me there.
